Rickshaws on demand

Hiring a rickshaw is a challenge in Mangalore. The Rickshaw drivers will refuse to go where you want to go. And you usually have to ask a few drivers before you will get one ready to go your way. It is high time Mangalore thought about hiring rickshaws by phone. In emergencies this dilly dallying of rickshaw drivers is going to be a problem.

Polluting the skies

Up on the 11 th floor and there is always dust. All the unwanted gases and dust gets send way up in to the sky. Especially generator exhumes. I wonder what the logic is of the pollution board in doing this. The dust will settle back on leaves of trees and roof tops on its return to earth. I am kind of worried about the lovely trees of Mangalore.

Housekeeping services - fixing rates

Houskeeping services in India needs to have fixed rates. I am not saying that we pay exorbitant money. But like the Rickshaw drivers and day laborers these people need to have some kind of fixed rate. So that they do not have to degrade themselves all the time asking for a raise.
